They were so good, I had to feature them again. Yes, the most authentic tribute to Metallica, The Four Horsemen played the House of Blues a second time this year with another crowd stunner over the 4th weekend. This time, I had an All-Access pass to roam the venue without security on my arse.

If you didn't catch my previous review of these guys back in March, all that applied then, still applies now.  I would like to throw out a special thank you to Sean, Mike, and Rich for having me back. It was a privilege to see your show. Check out my plentiful photo review from the night.

Review: The Four Horsemen (Metallica) @ The House of Blues

What an unbelievable and memorable show I attended last Saturday night at the House of Blues in Cleveland. The Four Horsemen, considered the ultimate tribute band to Metallica, headlined an evening which consisted of Meccadeth (Megadeth) and Maiden Voyage (Iron Maiden) as the openers. A whole evening full of thrash classics I grew up on.

Metallica, being the peak of bands I throughly look up to, The Four Horsemen brought something truly special that only a hardcore Metallica fan would truly appreciate and understand. Delivering a classic presence of what Metallica displayed back in their 80s and 90s heyday. All the energy and sound that fans remembered from days past when they were on top of the world. Sean Perry, the lead vocalist, demonstrated an authentic vintage James Hetfield. The voice, growls, oh, and the "yeeeaahs" were mirror-like chilling to listen to. Even his stage stance and mannerisms were spot on adding to the experience. Everything was kept pretty much old school for these guys. Nothing played later than the "Black" album era, which true metal heads would appreciate.

To conclude my evening with three great tribute bands on the bill, I was taken back with The Four Horsemen. The earliest I seen Metallica live was 2003, so to experience something truly genuine like this, was something I will remember for awhile. The Four Horsemen, they are the TRUE (ultimate) Metallica tribute band out there that keep things geared to their thrash roots!
