--Video Shoot--
Anyone in attendance at the Empire Concert Club in Akron last Saturday got the opportunity to get their face in Olathia's new music video. Fans voted for their heavily popular track "Hellhound" and the band raged it out onstage while cameras were rolling. My afternoon arrival (well before showtime) started with production in full swing. I got to lay back and enjoy the multiple takes of the song and see the guys as pumped as I was. Of course, I couldn't sit there and let my eyes take in all the satisfaction. Popped out my camera and got a few behind the scene moments to share.

"Yo, Chris. Is there a job you can't handle?"
Kesley with Chris of Olathia
Let me tell you something I thought was WAY cool. This is Kesley (left) and she's 10 years old (yes, cool, but I'm building it up). Back in November, while I was with Olathia at the Amaranthe/Butcher Babies show, I saw this same girl out at the front entrance of the Odeon in Cleveland with her dad. Chris met up with her and introduced herself to find out that this was her very first concert. What made the evening even better, I found out she got picked to go up on stage with Amaranthe (I left midway of their show so I didn't see this). So Chris invited her back so she could be part of the video shoot. What an AWESOME dad to get her daughter into the music scene!

A stardom rock-star in our midst. Kesley brought on stage to help sing Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" with dad cheering her on.
