Photos: Dread Engine @ The Whiskey Warehouse

It didn't take very long to get the fire ignited when Columbus natives, Dread Engine opened last Saturday night's show at the Whiskey Warehouse in Mansfield, Ohio. The last time I saw Dread Engine, it was back in July at Ink in the Clink. They certainly left my ears wanting more. So when I finally heard on social media that they were coming "somewhat" close to my neck of the ends, I seized the opportunity to see them.

Now with a few different band members replaced and the upcoming release of their CD next month, the work has paid off. The "Engine" never felt cleaner and roared with a sound that leaves your chest echoing with a heavier vibration of pure power! Not that it wasn't before, but the new stuff played that evening really left a fire burning in my stomach wanting much more. I was hoping their set would last a little longer with only three bands on the bill. Their next big show on Saturday, April 8 at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus can't come soon enough. Go see it. My recommendations doesn't come higher than this...YOU WON'T BE DISSIPOINTED. I'm putting my stamp of approval on it!

Here are some shots from their set that night.
